CORONADO, Calif. - Navy Master Chief Petty Officer Sherwanna Jefferson, a Navasota High School graduate and Navasota, Texas, native marks her 21st anniversary of serving in the U.S. Navy on Nov. 18.

Jefferson, an information systems technician, is a senior enlisted leader assigned to Commander Carrier Strike Group Fifteen (CCSG-15) in Coronado, California. She achieved the rank of master chief petty officer in September 2017.
