Chambersburg Native Selected as Senior Civilian of the Quarter

NORFOLK, Va. - Mr. Michael Wright, a native of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, was selected as Senior Civilian of the Quarter serving with Commander, Navy Region Mid-Atlantic (CNRMA) Norfolk, Virginia.

Wright, who has 36 years of government service, is the assistant inspector general at CNRMA who is responsible for overseeing and conducting investigations involving allegations of fraud, waste, abuse, and employee misconduct.

"Being selected as the CNRMA Senior Civilian of the Quarter means that the Navy has entrusted in me to perform my duties which has allowed me to ensure that we as government employees are accountable to the American taxpayers," Wright said.

CNRMA provides coordination of base operating support functions for operating forces throughout the region in support of the Fleet, Fighter and Family.
