Navy Chief Nicholas Cabansag is an electronics technician (submarine/navigation) assigned to the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) in Norfolk, Virginia. He is responsible preparing for and conducting basic submarine navigation and piloting evolutions.
Chief Cabansag joins 16 other MARMC Sailors who earned their chief anchors, a milestone in a Sailor’s career and a prestigious tradition that goes back 126 years.
MARMC is home to more than 1,500 Sailors who provide surface ship maintenance, management and oversight of private sector maintenance and fleet technical assistance to ships in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States and support the 5th and 6th fleet areas of responsibilities.
