BREMERTON, Wash. - Navy Seaman Angela Vale, a 2016 graduate of Denton High School and native of Denton, Texas, received the Naval Base Kistap (NBK) Blue Jacket of the Quarter Award serving with Installation Security Harbor Patrol, NBK, Washington.

Selection was based on the individual's exemplary duty performance, job knowledge, leadership qualities, teamwork ethic, personal achievements and record of supporting and serving the community.
Vale, who has served in the Navy for two years, is a master-at-arms responsible for law enforcement, regulating duties, security and force protection for the Navy.

Vale is the daughter of Beatriz Vale, sister of Ruth Eanes and niece of Luis Lopez, all from Denton, Texas.
