NAPLES, Italy - Personnel Specialist 2nd Class Alexis Sims, a native of Oakland, California, was named 2019 Junior Sailor of the Quarter assigned to Navy Region Europe, Africa, Central (CNREURAFCENT) Naples, Italy.
As a Navy personnel specialist, Sims writes official orders, processes pay and provides entitlement information to sailors onboard Naval Support Activity (NSA) Naples.
NSA Naples is an operational ashore base that enables U.S., allied and partner nation forces to be where they are needed, when they are needed to ensure security and stability in Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia.
Sims, currently serving over 10 years, graduated in 2019 from Liberty University with a degree in medical office administration. She has a three-year-old daughter and enjoys dancing, arts and crafts, gymnastics and sports cars.
