MILLINGTON, Tenn. -- A San Francisco native and 2011 Immaculate Conception Academy graduate is USS Theodore Roosevelt's (CVN 71) Sailor in the Spotlight.
Petty Officer 3rd Class Jessica Quinn, who has served in the Navy for two and a half years, is an electronics technician aboard the carrier, stationed in Norfolk, Virginia.
As an electronics technician, she is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing various electronic equipment on the ship such as radars and communication systems.
"ET3 Quinn recently joined the crew of USS Roosevelt and is a welcomed addition to Combat Electronics (CE) Division as a Navy Multi-band Terminal technician," her division leadership said. "In her short time onboard, she already demonstrates the type of motivation, work ethic and command involvement that adds value to our crew."
Quinn lives with her husband, who also serves in the Navy, in Rota, Spain, to support forward-deployed Naval Forces Europe.
