MILLINGTON, Tenn. – During Montgomery Navy Week, April 1 – 7, sailors from across the nation volunteered throughout the community and shared how they provided the Navy the nation needs. For one of these sailors, their participation in this Navy Week had special meaning because they have hometown ties to Alabama.
"I joined the Navy to travel the world and to continue a family tradition of service," said Clark.
Clark graduated from Sacred Heart University in 2018 with a Master's in Human Resource Management and from Florida Institute of Technology in 2023 with a Master's in Project Management.
Today, Clark serves as a Human Resources officer with Navy Talent Acquisition Group (NTAG) Jacksonville, Florida.
"The best part about my job is helping new sailors through the recruitment process and giving them the tools necessary to have a successful career," said Clark.
According to Navy officials, NTAG Jacksonville's mission is to leverage an inspirational culture that informs, attracts, influences and hires the highest quality candidates from America's diverse talent pool. This goal ensures the success of America's Navy and establishes the foundation for sailors to thrive in a life-changing experience.
"The best memories I have involve spending time with friends and family on Lake Martin, playing games, eating good food and seeing the Crimson Tide win," added Clark. "To all my friends and family in Montgomery and across the neighboring areas, I miss and love you all!"
