MILLINGTON, Tenn. - Petty Officer 3rd Class Wesley Kennington, a native of Ottawa, Kansas, currently deployed aboard the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier, USS Theodore Roosevelt, wishes the Kansas City Chiefs good luck during the 2024 football season.
“I’m a Chiefs fan because they are our local team,” said Kennington.
Kennington joined the Navy four years ago. Today, Kennington serves as an aviation electrician’s mate aboard USS Theodore Roosevelt.
As Kennington and other sailors continue to train and perform missions, they take pride in serving their country in the U.S. Navy.
“Serving has given me a sense of confidence, amazing traveling opportunities and an overall accelerated life,” added Kennington.
