MILLINGTON, Tenn. - Petty Officer 2nd Class Monet Lambert Price, a native of Rockford, Illinois, recently received a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for being named the 2024 New Accession Training Recruiter of the Year for Navy Talent Acquisition Group (NTAG) Great Lakes.
Lambert Price, a 2015 Auburn High School graduate, joined the Navy seven years ago.
"Being named the NTAG New Accession Training Recruiter of the Year means that all the blood, sweat and tears weren't for nothing," said Lambert Price. "It also means that I've accomplished something and it didn't go unnoticed. With the help from my leaders cheering me on, I was definitely pushed to my fullest potential. I'm grateful to them and to my family members for their support and encouragement, and for showing me that I am capable of exceeding expectations."

NTAGs are recruiting districts that make up the Navy Recruiting Region. There are 26 NTAGs across the United States, as well as a Navy Recruiting Reserved command and Recruiting School.
NTAG Great Lakes covers the following areas: Northern Illinois, Northwest Indiana, Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
