Scottsville native recognized for accomplishments and leadership for community

(BREMERTON, Wash.) A 2004 Mason County Central High School graduate and Scottsville, Michigan, native was named as emerging leader and achiever during the 2017 “20 Under 40” recognition event at the Admiral Theatre in Bremerton, Washington.

U.S. Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Brooks P. Graham, currently serving for seven years, is the funeral honors leading petty officer, whose selection was based on the individual's exemplary duty performance, job knowledge, leadership qualities, teamwork ethic, personal achievements and record of supporting and serving the community.

He was recognized for his accomplishments in his profession, community service and leadership potential in the community.

The Naval Base Kitsap Bremerton, Washington, Peninsula community, annually recognizes the promise and talent of 20 individuals under the age of 40 as its emerging leaders in the area. As one of the 20 honorees, Graham was recognized for his accomplishments in his profession, community service and leadership potential in the community.
