Bussell’s expertise in all facets of her job and her quiet self-confidence make
her a natural leader,” said Strategic Plans and Policy Department Acting
Assistant Chief of Staff Bob Kiser, “She always demonstrates the highest degree
of diplomacy and personal skill, to such an extent that others find it easy to
follow her lead.”
Bussell is the security cooperation and security assistance program manager
where she supports the command’s international strategic engagement plan; oversees
foreign military training, sales and international agreements; and manages the
official representation funds. She effectively managed many foreign engagements
and visits this past fiscal year and additionally served as the command’s
foreign disclosure manager while the position was vacated.

the mission’s overall success, but Ms. Bussell is truly the best of the best.”
Bussell, a Holmes County Herald High School graduate and Lexington, Mississippi, native currently resides with her husband
Holland in Slidell, Louisiana. They have three children Alysha, Ashlee and
Holland, II. She has a bachelor’s in Business Administration from the
University of New Orleans and is currently pursuing a master’s degree.
COMNAVMETOCCOM directs and oversees more than 2,500
globally-distributed military and civilian personnel who collect, process and
exploit environmental information to assist Fleet and Joint Commanders in all
warfare areas to make better decisions faster than the adversary
