KITSAP, Wash. - Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Cheyenne C. Frank, a 2013 Deer Creek Mackinaw High School graduate and Mackinaw, Illinois, native, has been named Naval Base Kitsap (NBK) Washington Junior Sailor of the Quarter.
Selection was based on the individual's exemplary duty performance, job knowledge, leadership qualities, teamwork ethic, personal achievements and record of supporting and serving the community.
Frank, currently serving for five years, is the building manager petty officer with Unaccompanied Housing Office, NBK Washington.
NBK Washington is the largest naval organization in Navy Region Northwest. It's mission is to serve as the host command for the Navy’s fleet throughout West Puget Sound and to provide base operating services, including support for both surface ships and submarines homeported at Bremerton and Bangor.
Frank is the daughter of Andrew C. and Christina D. Frank of Mackinaw, Illinois.
