Syracuse Native Promoted to U.S. Navy First Class

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Petty Officer First Class Nijah Lee (left), a Sparta New Jersey High School graduate and Syracuse, New York, native was recently meritoriously promoted to U.S. Navy Petty Officer First Class serving with Information Warfare Training Command (IWTC) Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Lee, an intelligence specialist, is  responsible for analyzing intelligence data, interpreting and breaking down information to determine its usefulness in military planning. From this intelligence data, she prepares materials that affect strategic and tactical areas all over the world.

IWTC Virginia Beach provides a continuum of information warfare training to Navy and joint service personnel that prepares them to conduct information warfare across the full spectrum of military operations.

IWTC is one of four commands for the Center for Information Warfare Training (CIWT), a learning center for Naval Education and Training Command. They provide a continuum of information warfare training to Navy and joint service personnel that prepares them to conduct information warfare across the full spectrum of military operations.

Lee's parents both reside in Glen Ridge, New Jersey.
