NAVCO 2019 Year in Review

NAVCO 2019 Year in Review

The Navy Office of Community Outreach enjoyed a great year reaching millions of Americans in 2019 through 14 Navy Weeks, 21 Executive Engagement Visits and Media Production Visits to 23 military installations. We also helped approve and coordinate outreach events such as band performances, aviation flyovers and speaker visits.

As we reflect on the successes this year, we look forward to even more opportunities to share America's Navy in the new decade.

Below are a few photos that represent some of our favorite moments

January
In January, the Navy Week schedule was released. We visited 14 cities in 2019 including new locations such as San Juan, Puerto Rico and Miami, Florida. Each Navy Week is an opportunity for civilians to learn about the Navy through approximately100 interactive and educational events and activities
