MILLINGTON, Tenn. - Petty Officer 1st Class Cailean Basa, a native of Bakersfield, California, recently received a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for being named 2024 Nuclear Field Recruiter of the Year for Navy Talent Acquisition Group (NTAG) Great Lakes.

Basa, a 2005 graduate of East Bakersfield High School, joined the Navy 10 years ago.

"Being named Nuclear Field Recruiter of the Year is a very big honor to me and gives me an incredible feeling of accomplishment to be recognized for this title," said Basa.
