MILLINGTON, Tenn. – Sailors provide the Navy the nation needs from around the world. This means they do not always get to celebrate holidays with their loved ones.
Petty Officer 2nd Class Tiffany Ohler, left, a native of Cascade, Maryland, currently serves in the United States Navy aboard USS Theodore Roosevelt, an aircraft carrier operating out of San Diego, California.
“To me, the holidays mean spending time with family and having a cup of hot chocolate," said Ohler.
Ohler wants family back home to know they are missed this holiday season.
"I love my family and am thankful for them," added Ohler.
